California newts are a charismatic amphibian species found only in the state of California, and an integral part of our local ecosystem. Not only are they prey for native garter snakes, but these newts also help regulate invertebrate populations.
Hidden Villa is partnering with our community to support our newt population. Come help us move soil out of one of the ponds, so we can create a more hospitable habitat!
