Description
Come help us prepare breakfast for the residence at WEHope. We will meet to prepare breakfast in the Los Altos UMC kitchen, 655 Magdalena Ave, Los Altos. Another team of Compassion Week volunteers will deliver the meal to WeHOPE in East Palo Alto.
Age Requirement: 13+
Please wear/bring: closed toe shoes; hat or hair tie
The mission of WeHOPE is to help the unhoused, homeless and those at-risk in rebuilding their lives through a Supportive Housing Program customized to the needs of each client. WeHOPE is an acronym for We Help Other People Excel. Through our devotion to helping others, our long-term goal is to help improve the health of East Palo Alto by helping others overcome the critical issues facing homelessness and poverty in our cities.
