Kids Corner volunteers will need to complete a mandated reporter training that is free of charge.
Our children’s library at the Palo Alto site is open on Thursdays from 4-6pm. Our wonderful volunteers engage in a number of activities with our children, ranging from reading books to playing games with them. Kids Corner events take place at the Geng children's library. Parking is available at the Bayshore Athletic Center or by the side of the Geng office, if open.
They will be responsible for:
- Light organization of the library
- Engaging with children and reading stories or playing games.
We are currently seeking volunteers for our Kids Corner program, on Thursdays from 4-6PM.
Facilities Manager, Kathleen Nguyen, will be emailing you upon sign up of shifts to review the documentation required prior to starting your first shift. LiveScan and Mandated Reporter Training are due before your first shift.
