Description
Pick up a hot dinner prepared by The Day Worker Center in Mountain View and deliver/serve to residents of the WeHOPE homeless shelter in East Palo Alto. Arrive at The Day Worker Center in Mountain View by 6pm and deliver by 6:30pm
- Pick up the dinner at Day Work Center, 113 Escuela Ave, Mountain View
- Deliver dinner to Project WeHope at 1854 E. Bay Rd, East Palo Alto. Talk to residents as you serve them dinner.
- Return cambros (food carriers) to Los Altos UMC, 655 Magdalena Ave, Los Altos
LOCATION: Project WeHOPE at 1854 E. Bay Rd., East Palo Alto
Age Requirement: 16+
Please wear/bring: closed toe shoes; hat or hair tie
The mission of WeHOPE is to help the unhoused, homeless and those at-risk in rebuilding their lives through a Supportive Housing Program customized to the needs of each client. WeHOPE is an acronym for We Help Other People Excel. Through our devotion to helping others, our long-term goal is to help improve the health of East Palo Alto by helping others overcome the critical issues facing homelessness and poverty in our cities.
