Storytime volunteers will need to complete a mandated reporter training that is free of charge.
To make our kids activities more accessible to all children residing on our lots, we bring the activities out to each of the big lots twice a month. This opportunity is for our SHORELINE lot. If you are interested in volunteering for our VTA lot, please sign up for that opportunity separately.
Storytime @ Shoreline will take place from 5-7PM, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.
- Please note that these events are outdoors so dress accordingly! There is no shade at our Shoreline lot.
Volunteers will be responsible for:
- Setting up and displaying the books and activities available
- Engaging with children and helping them pick out age appropriate books/activities
- Clean up and tear down of the display
Facilities Manager, Kathleen Nguyen, will be emailing you upon sign up of shifts to review the documentation required prior to starting your first shift.
