At each school we hear the same vision-- helping a child LEARN TO READ in their kindergarten through third grade years empowers them to READ TO LEARN for the rest of their lives. Otherwise, they fall behind and can't catch up. As a listening partner to educators, we have designed our Bookshelf in Every Home project that brings low income Kindergarten families to their child’s school to receive the child's very own Bookshelf together and to receive free books.
Help sort books and wooden letters in preparation for the Bookcase Faire, when children will get to customize their bookcases by picking the color of their drawers, decorating their shelves, and choosing books from a wide selection. Bring the give of literacy and joy to a family with this project.
